$1.947 Weekly Gas Price Update 9/24/2006

During the week prices *spiked* in Lexington/Nicholasville from $1.999 to $2.249 but they fell back for the weekend. I brought gas yesterday at Marathon in Lexington for $2.049 a gallon. Since I used my Marathon Credit Card with has a %5 rebate, so I guess I paid $1.947 a gallon. Which is less than what a paied last week! I drove up to visit Brian and friends in Dayton and used about 8 gallons of gas their and about and got about 38 MPG on my saturn. The lowest price in the country according to GasPriceWatch.com is $1.86!
